Exciting New Features on Apple’s watchOS 10
We've seen hundreds of small improvements to Apple's watch screens, settings, and accessories over the last nine years. Rarely, however, have we witnessed a significant improvement to Apple's UI design. That all changes this Fall. Apple is releasing watchOS 10 later this year, and the new UX update has a number of exciting features for us to get excited about.
The core change in Apple's revamped UI design will be the introduction of Smart Stack. This nifty tool allows more widgets to be ergonomically displayed on the watch face at once. And the best part? The widgets update automatically depending on your circumstances. In the morning, it may offer you an overview of your calendar or the day's weather forecast. When you exercise, it'll display your heartbeat and calories burned. As you travel, it'll show maps, boarding passes, and tickets. At night, it'll track your sleep.

Apple has evidently embraced the challenges that come with a minimalist watch face. The new Smart Stack technology provides users with all the information they need without compromising on Apple's trademark sleek UI. Of course, it wouldn't be an Apple product without dozens of customization options. Smart Stack also allows you to pin priority widgets and app shortcuts to your home screen.
WatchOS10 is currently in beta and will be released to the general public this Fall.
