The Browser Company’s Arc is finally here, and it’s changing the way we think about the internet. Users on Mac and iOS can visit arc.net to try version 1.0 of the browser today.

The Outstanding Arc Browser is Now Available on Mac and iOS.

Following a lengthy closed beta, Arc 1.0 has arrived for Mac and iOS. The operating system has received its fair share of praise in the last few months. But, until now, interested users have been confined to a waitlist. Now, after over two years of testing, Arc has arrived.

Arc’s technology is based on Google’s Chromium engine, but don’t be fooled. The operating system is more than a simple Chrome-based browser. It’s reinventing the way we engage with the internet.

Arc has several features for designers to sink their teeth into. It lets you customize web pages by changing color schemes, layouts, and fonts. If there are specific elements of a site you don’t like, you can remove them to streamline your experience. Arc also allows you to create collaborative visual easels with others, set up custom spaces for work and leisure, and take detailed notes on specialized tabs.

Of course, Arc is still in the early stages of development. For one, it’s currently only available on iOS and Mac, though a Windows release is in the works. Arc’s creators are also debating how best to implement AI into the browser to improve the user experience.

Arc is different. That goes without saying. For those familiar with other popular operating systems, it may take some getting used to. But it’s certainly worth a go. Arc may just be the Chrome replacement you’ve been holding out for. Try it for free on Mac and iOS today.
