Side project: The Everywhere Project.

Side project: The Everywhere ProjectThe Everywhere Project is a collaborative project curated by designer and illustrator, Adrian Walsh. It was created as a tribute to the classic folk song "I've Been Everywhere" which was written in 1959 by Australian songwriter, Geoff Mack. The original version of the song listed Australian place names but was later adapted to North American locations by Hank Snow, whose version of the song went to number one on the country music charts in 1962.

The project itself is made up of contributions from a select group of designers and illustrators who are invited to create luggage labels representing each of the 92 locations listed in the American version of the song. Contributors include Evan Huwa, Dan Christofferson, Roxanne Daner and Teresa Wozniak, to name a few.

On the whole it's a wonderfully well thought out project and you can't help but admire the quality of the contributions. With several luggage labels still to be designed I'm very much looking forward to seeing what else is to come. For now though, here's a collection of some of our favourite designs from the project so far:

Winnemucca

Dodge City

Waterloo

El Dorado

Bakersfield

Texarkana

Mattawa

Ottawa

Which of these luggage label designs are your favorite? Where would you design a label for? Let us know in the comments.
